1. General

1.1 This document details Our privacy policy (“Policy”). It is here to show how we will use any private information which you provide to us.

1.2 We will also use our reasonable endeavours to follow any privacy legislation that is, or may be put, in place in every country in which we operate. If you believe that any part of our Policy breaches any privacy legislation in your country then please let us know.

1.3 “Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual.

1.4 Any other defined term that is not defined in the Policy will have the meaning given to it in the Terms of Service.

2. How we use your information

2.1 We will use any Personal Information you provide, or which we obtain from an SMS, to operate the Website. This includes for the use of verifying your identity.

2.2 We will also compile further Personal Information from your use of the Website “Usage Information”.

2.3 We will make portions of this information available to other users as required to operate the website. This includes, but is not limited to, showing feedback you have received and left in relation to Meals and limited location details when you make a Listing. We believe that all of this information is required to be shared to provide our service.

2.4 We do not sell or rent your Personal Information to any other party.

2.5 We may produce statistics on our users, and such statistics may be provided to third parties. All such statistics will be provided in a way which does not allow any user to be identified.

2.6 We may release your Personal Information under certain situations. These include, but are not limited to, when presented with the necessary legal documents to force release (such as a court order), when required so we can receive a service from a third party required for our Website, when required to by legislation in your country, to protect our intellectual property, to enforce our Terms and if we reasonably believe, in our sole opinion, that such release will prevent harm to another user. We will also consider, and provide at our sole discretion, releasing sufficient information for identification purposes if a user is taking legal action against another user.

3. Your rights regarding your data

3.1 We will release, on request, a copy of all Personal Information we hold about you. We reserve the right to charge, where allowed by law, a reasonable fee to collect, compile and provide such Personal Information.

3.2 We will inform you, on request, if we have provided your Personal Information to any third party. However, we will not do so if prevented from doing so by an order of a court with jurisdiction.

3.3 You can, through the Website, disable your account. However, this will not remove your “Usage Information” from the Website. We may on your request, and at our sole discretion, remove your Usage Information from the Website.

3.4 You acknowledge that disabling your account does not remove your Personal Information from our system. You agree that we may hold your Personal Information for as long as we believe is required to provide our service and fulfil our legal obligations. For the sake of clarity this is a period of at least seven years.

3.5 You acknowledge that any Listing you make, and any feedback you provide, is in the public domain once submitted. We have no control over any third party who copies, displays or otherwise uses that information. For example, Google may continue to show old Listings for perpetuity.

3.6 You are able to update your information so that it is correct. If there is any incorrect information which you cannot change via the Website then we ask that you contact us so that we can make the change for you.

3.7 You acknowledge that your Personal Information will include any information which was previously provided to us and which has since been changed. This includes, but is not limited to, old email addresses and former phone numbers.

4. Cookies

4.1 To help provide a better service to you, we make use of a technology called cookies. These help us to coordinate the service we provide with your use of the Website. These cookies are stored on any device you use to access the Website. These cookies may be temporary cookies, which will only last while your browser is open or expire soon after, and permanent cookies, which will assist us monitoring how are services are being delivered as well as allowing you to remain logged in to the Website (if you want to be).

5. Communication

5.1 As part of the account creation process we will gain your email address. You agree that, while your account is active (and has not been disabled) we may send you emails that relate to your use of the Website.

5.2 You agree that we may send you emails relating to our services that we believe you may be interested in. You may unsubscribe from such emails at any time. A facility to unsubscribe is included in each of those emails.

5.3 You agree that you will not use our Website to send emails to any party as a way to harass them. If our Website does allow you to send an email to a third party, you agree that they will not object to receiving such an email.

6. Payment

6.1 To allow you to make easy payment, we may hold your credit card details. These will only be stored at your request. If we do not store your details then you will need to re-enter them again each time you purchase a Meal.

6.2 We will require that your credit card details if we are to transfer you any funds. These funds could be due to a refund or after a successful Listing. If we do not store your credit card details then we will require you to enter your credit card details on the website so that the funds can be transferred. If we hold bank account details for you, and that bank account is in a country in which we offer payments to bank accounts, then we will make any refund to your bank account.

6.3 All credit card information is stored by Paypal, Inc. and is encrypted. When entering your credit card details you will be communicating with our Website over a 128bit TLS connection.

7. Miscellaneous

7.1 Image files may often contain more information than just what you can see, often including the location where the picture was taken. While we will use our reasonable endeavours to remove such information, you acknowledge that the removal of such information is your responsibility.

7.2 We may retain other information about your behaviour on the Website to assist us in better operating the Website as well as allowing us to grow its use. This includes, but is not limited to; recording the address of the website you previously visited, the time spent on each page, details about the device you are accessing the Website on, your IP address and your geographical location.

7.3 You agree that, if your device allows it, we may send push notifications to your device to alert you about any Listing you have made, any Meal you have booked or any Listing you have shown interest in.

7.4 We reserve the right to change the Policy at any time. Your continued use of the Website will indicate your acceptance of the new updated Policy.
