Napkin for donut shops
Maple bars gone by 8:15. They kept asking.
Napkin sends you a short report each morning: what sold out and when, what people asked for, and where the counter got stuck.
About $1 a day. Nothing to install on your registers.
Sample report. Not a real store.
Good morning. Here's Saturday at Main Street.
Customers asked for
Customers asked for maple bars after 9 a.m. They were gone by 8:15.
A customer asked about three dozen for a school event on Friday. It never got written down.
Ran out
Maple bars: out at 8:15 a.m. Glazed: low by 10 a.m.
At the counter
The card reader kept declining tap payments during the 7 a.m. rush.
Your team
The early shift offered the dozen deal to every family. The later shift can match it.
Today
Fry another tray of maple bars. Confirm the school order. Check the card reader before opening.

Questions
- How does Napkin know what customers asked for?
- The beacon picks up talk at the counter. Napkin turns it into short notes for your report. Audio is deleted after 7 days by default. You choose how long notes are kept, up to 12 months.
- Do I need to tell customers and staff?
- Yes. We give you a counter sign and a short note for your team. Rules differ by state, and we’ll walk you through yours on the call.
- What does it cost?
- About $1 a day. See pricing for details.
- Do I need to change my POS or install software?
- No. Napkin doesn’t touch your registers.
- How does setup work?
- Plug the beacon in near the counter and connect it to your store’s Wi-Fi from your phone. Your first report comes within a day or two.
- What about my staff?
- It’s about the shift, not one person. The report shows what worked so every shift can do it too.
- What happens to the data?
- Conversation data is not used to train models outside Napkin. See our privacy page for details.
